Landlubber Dreamin’ – The Hector Heritage Quay, Pictou, NS

The ship Hector arrived in Pictou Harbor on September 15, 1773, bringing 189 emigrants to their new home. The Hector Heritage Quay offers visitors the opportunity to step back in time and learn more about what has fondly been called “Canada’s Mayflower”, and the indigenous community who were instrumental in the Hectors passengers’ survival.

The Michelle’s Hat Series (MHS) - B Calder has reproduced on canvas paintings from photographs her daughter M Calder has taken around Nova Scotia.  A percentage of all proceeds from sales of the MHS will be donated to TN (trigeminal neuralgia) research.
