Winter Fog – Shubenacadie Tree – July 2022
Mention ‘The Tree’ and most HWY #102 traveler’s minds picture the symmetrically beautiful red oak tree that stands sentinel over the bank of the Shubenacadie River, approximately 30 km south of Truro NS, near exit 10. The Tree, has been a point of interest since the construction of HWY #102, started in 1958. (Where, because of the by-pass, constructed at Shubenacadie and Stewiacke in the 70’s, allowed us to view this beautiful spot)
